Editorial Standards

1. Editorial firewall

HypnoNews is published by Lab 106 MB. We also operate hypnotherapy products (currently HypnoRe). Editorial coverage and ranking are independent of any commercial relationship. All own-product mentions are disclosed at first mention in any article.

2. Source quality tiers

We grade sources using a four-tier taxonomy. Tier 1 (PubMed-indexed peer-reviewed studies, Cochrane reviews, DOI-linked journal articles) carries the most weight. Tier 2 covers institutional sources (WHO, NIH, FDA, EMA). Tier 3 includes practitioner publications and industry reports. Tier 4 is excluded from evidence claims.

3. Citation format

We use narrative inline citations: (Author et al., YYYY). We never use numbered footnote anchors. Source URLs are linked from the inline author group; a complete bibliography appears at the end of each article.

4. YMYL discipline

For "Your Money or Your Life" content (health interventions, diagnostic guidance), we avoid hedge-free claims like "guaranteed," "miracle," or "100% effective." We prefer "research suggests," "studies indicate," or "evidence shows." Every medical claim links to its source.

5. Disclosure requirements

  • Own-product mentions — sage-cluster disclosure on first mention.
  • Affiliate links — sage-cluster disclosure declaring commercial relationship.
  • Medical content — blue-cluster disclosure that this is not medical advice.

6. Updates

Major editorial changes are versioned and dated. Significant corrections are flagged at the top of affected articles. This page lists the date of the most recent revision.
